Nowadays i tend to think of the soul as our higher self and the mind is a vessel for all our thoughts and feelings while we are here. I think they are both interlinked but not the same.

The mind is a funny thing and can have us thinking/feeling differently from one day to the next but i feel the soul is more pure than the mind. The mind can become diseased with mental illnesses whereas the soul cant ever be.

Sorry i cant explain it properly.

The mind is definitely a funny thing.

Oh, be gentle. Sounds like she might be going through the same thing I did - a bit of soul searching.

Got a link? Maybe I can offer her some advice.

Following on from my last post, I will PM you the forum.

I am not trying to disrupt this place - simply trying to understand.

No harm in that. I think it is a very good idea to check out the types of forums that are discussed on here occasionally, if only to lurk to see for yourself what some people are capable of believing and why, and make up your own mind about certain aspects of it and not just lump it all in together. And I do agree that that can go both ways. It’s a pity more of them don’t come and lurk here or forums like this. It wouldn’t hurt them to get a little balance or simply consider the other guys point of view, instead of being so set in their own beliefs that they may be missing a bigger picture. That’s what I tried to do, make them look at things a little more open-mindedly, because I still believe there could be more to this in the direction of personal and spiritual growth. But the garbs of psychic hood must be left behind.
