'If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck and smells like a duck, at what point do you say "it's probably a duck"?' says Dr Gary Schwartz.

Schwartz is the only scientist from a recognised university to investigate whether mediumship exists. And he thinks his team has almost nailed the solution to the question we'd all like answered: Do mediums have the power to talk to the dead?

Sounds like another attempt to cash in on the psychic phenomenon

Professor Woo's boundless energy to chase the mighty dollar never ceases to amaze. I don't think he's ever found a whacky idea that he couldn't 'prove' this existence of.

:D

I hope you're not confusing Professor Woo with Doctor Woo, I'd hate to be lumped in with that lot

His experiments will never attain acceptance. Even though they are double-blind (and whatever other terms he's invented) at the time of the reading, those readings are then scored by interpretation. There's always the criticism that they are prone to subjective validation from all involved.

As long as the results are subjectively interpreted they will offer absolutely zero proof of the existence of the afterlife.

Unamibiguous information that does not require interpretation being passed from the dead to the living is the only way to get proof.
